Baldy Hughes Therapeutic Community is the premier therapeutic community in British Columbia catering to men suffering from addiction. Our model is an innovative and novel approach to treating substance abuse and is inspired by the highly respected and world-renowned therapeutic community in San Patrignano, Italy. The success of our abstinence-based program can be attributed to long-term treatment in a remote therapeutic community setting.
Abstinence-based recovery is the foundation that our program is built on. Our philosophy of care is supported by a holistic and interdisciplinary treatment approach which focuses on the restoration of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.
We work supportively with prospective residents, their concerned other, or referral agent to determine the specific situation, addiction history, health status and admission requirements. A variety of payment options can be arranged to cover the cost of treatment.
